What were you trying to do?
Run cview to obtain cluster usage data.
What's wrong:
The data is horribly inaccurate. In the case of the building
37 cluster (which is near my office so I know it fairly well),
it reports that the cluster has no SGIs, which is not the case.
It reports that there are at least 10 "ghost" people logged in
at all times, which is also just not the case. (And yes I've
walked by and checked the machines to make sure it wasn't just
someone that had been sitting there and locked the display
and left...).
What should have happened:
If people are expected to use this to determine where they
can find a free machine of a specific type the data should
at least be close!
