After installing a new mailer on "MIT.EDU" (associated with
the A record) we discovered that some number of W20 machines
are routing through that instead of the MX hosts for that
name.
It appears that Netscape's mail client does not observe
MX records and does not use the workstations MTA. I was
able to reproduce the behavior using the Netscape for SGI
in the Infoagents locker.
This is a bug. Netscape should either use the workstation's
MTA or observe MX records on it's own.
