The big picture is as follows:

	the post office servers aren't a filesystem.
	we don't back up the spool on post office
	   servers for the purpose of recovering user
	   files, only as a hedge against drive failure
	we can't guarantee that the user's data will
	   be preserved so it's a false statement to
	   say that the users's files will be safe on
	   the PO servers.
	the operators of the mail system have never bought
	   off on that statement being in that README file.

I'm not interested in debating this in the bugs list, my
request is as an operator of the mail system for the file
to be modified as requested.
