The most common cause of this problem is being in too many groups on
dizzy, due to bugs in the various bits of code we have that add people
to groups files. (These bugs are a little tricky to fix, but they
should be fixed in the 8.1 release.)
If you remove yourself from all of the groups you're in on dizzy, the
problem should go away for a while.
