What were you trying to do?
Check mail at an Athena SGI machine without logging in.
(F4, from the xlogin screen.)
What's wrong:
xlogin checked mail successfully. However, it did not
handle the "abort" button properly. Pushing "abort" dropped
me into the SGI's custom grey-and-blue graphical login screen.
(Being curious, I tried to login at that screen, instead of
hitting the obscure Control_L-Shift_L-F12-KP_Divide
keystroke. Apparently the SGI doesn't like me; the machine
froze up. This isn't really the bug though; the bug is
leaving the machine in a state which most users don't know
how to get out of.)
What should have happened:
The machine should have returned to the xlogin screen after
I aborted the login session.

The xlogin source? (Well, that's probably not documentation.)
