On a Sparc5, I did:
add frame
maker &
It replied:
maker: Starting FrameMaker 4. Copyright (c) 1986-1994 Frame Technology Corp.
Can't select on client hello 4.
The 5-button window appeared frozen, with no buttons displayed. After
waiting 18 minutes, this message appeared:
maker: Cannot initialize API client ClickPrint.
Check for errors in fminit/usenglish/APIArea/apiclients, verify
that the client programs exist, and make sure you have enough
swap space to run the clients.
Among other things, frame shouldn't need to take 18 minutes to figure
out that it's broken and should have displayed the error message sooner.
