The athena help page regarding tarring to the floppy located at:
Athena Consultant's Answers to Commonly Asked Questions -> Other questions ->
Tapes and Floppy Disks -> Using TAR disks
states that the device as /dev/diskette on SparcClassics. On this Sparc5,
that device didn't work but /vol/dev/aliases/floppy0 did.
