System name: eecs-ath-20
Type and version:	SPARC/Classic 7.7U (1 update(s) to same version)
Display type: cgthree

What were you trying to do?
Scroll through a frame document containing imported eps files

What's wrong:
Frame dies when it gets to the graphic window. No recover files
are created and all changes done before hitting the graphic are lost forever!!
The following error message is printed.

DPS/X Error: Extension has not been initialized.

What should have happened:
Under NO circumstances should the program die without writing out a
recover file, and it shouldn't die on eps files in any case!! I suggest that
the problems with Frame are so flagrant and so ubiquitous that you consider
dumping it in favor of a better program like Adobe illustrator.

A short list of known problems with frame:

 1) No good bibliography generation. BibTex is a cludge from tex, not a
real solution

 2) DPS/X Error loses all modifications

 3) Equation manipulation extremely limited.

 4) No way to generate comonly used symbols like hbar, ...

 5) Primitive formating, no way to float text around a graphic, no way to
modify defaults like putting 2 spaces after a period instead of one,...

I'm sure there are many others I haven't ran into yet.
