The real problem is that the machine that you are using has the 6.0R
packs spun up and is still running 6.0C. If the machine you were on is
a public workstation (has PUBLIC set to true in /etc/rc.conf), then
during its next deactivate cycle, it will automatically update to 6.0R
and this problem will go away.
Perhaps, what we should have done, in retrospect, is to do the
following:
if (-x /bin/athena/get_message) /bin/athena/get_message -new -zephyr
