What's wrong:
oliver% ls -l /usr/new/mh.6.5/bin/bin
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root 19 Jul 7 17:07 /usr/new/mh.6.5/bin/bin@
-> /usr/new/mh.6.5/bin
This may be for the sake of some outdated compatibility because some
programs look in /usr/new/mh.6.5/bin/bin, but I doubt it, and if it
is, then the programs should be fixed -- we shouldn't be placing a
recursive link into the filesystem.
In particular, try running a find over the urvd. You'll have to wait
a long time for it to get through all of the levels into which it will
get itself tangled.
