While trying to help a user in Rs1, I refered to the version
in the athenadoc locker. I found the following problems:
Remove the change bars - They are not needed. If they were marking areas
that have changed from the last release you don't mark everything. If
they mark incomplete regions, you muissed some.
Page 3 - Recommending to a user to source .login is bad. It will start
up another zwgc and minimum. Perhaps just recommend they logout and logn
again. Better still, tell them to set the environment variable
manually.
Page 4 - attach enprabha followed in BIG letters by (WHAT SHOULD THIS
BE....). The file no longer exists in Ernie's locker. I imagine it's the
file called "rsupdate" in the rs1.new locker.
Page 4 - bottom "This sets....." It sets printer type, editor type, etc.
Someone should find out.
Page 6 - rs1fix will sometimes fail if the user is over quota. Rs1 files
take up lots of space. There should be some comment regarding quotas. It
is also the #1 reason for rs1 failure. I believe starting rs1 while over
quota does not tell you that is the cause of the problem.
page 8 - You refer to User's guide, Book 1, pp 74-83. The guides pages
are numbered by section-page. All page numbers throughout the document
are from the old manuals and are not compatible with the new one. If
you want to keep the old references about, there should be both old and
new ones. (p 9, it's done correctty)
p 12 - Page error
p 13 -bottome - page error
p 16 - page errors
p 17 - page #'s should be section 2.60-2.63
p 20 - page errors
