(I'm doing this from memory, so the fields won't all match what you're used to.
Oh, well. :-)
What were you trying to do?
The person was trying to run Maker and not have thousands of popup windows
all over their screen.
They didn't understand the clever mnemonic of `Control-C' for ``Get this
stupid window off of my screen, por favor''. (silly user)
What went wrong?
The Mnemonic clearly should *require* users hit some key on the keyboard
with their nose, so that they would remember it.
What should have happened instead?
Well, if the nose thing is Right Out, perhaps someone should consider
adding in a menu entry to the default MWM menus for f.delete, which is
the way that Frame assumes that you will get rid of Maker popups.
Describe any relevant documentation references.
Well, I *should* be able to refer you to the IBM CUA Guidelines, since that's
what Motif's UI is based on. However, Athena hasn't changed the mwm config
file since before the defaults were `correctly' set to match the CUA, so
I can't. (I wonder how many people this confuses. I've seen more than 1
personally. :-/ )
