What were you trying to do?
trying to run the autocad tutorial using directions from autocad manual
manual found in barker reference.
What's wrong:
it is exceedingly difficult to figure out how to do so under AFS.
due to the nature of the directions in autocad manual, it required
some hacking on my part to obtain the necessary file to run the
tutorial(file found at: /mit/autocad/acad/tutorial/site)
What should have happened:
clearer directions on how to initiate the tutorial or the automatic
transfer of the necessary file when autocad is initiated will allow
new users an easier time when trying to follow tutorial instructions
in autocad manual.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
AutoCAD Tutorial published by AUTODESK is the manual herein refered to
as the autocad manual.
