Framemaker Problem - Hard Crashes

There has been a question in the OLC queue for quite some time
(username: petros) concerning a possible problem with framemaker. The
symptoms seem to be:
Framemaker crashes intermittantly when scrolling through large documents
with graphics. This happens once every ten or twenty times the user works
with the document. However, since he uses frame several times a day,
that's frequent enough to be a major problem.
The error most frequently encountered is "DPS/X Error: Extension has not
been initialized." indicating that the problem may be with the way it
deals with the display postscript extension.
This problem exits on the SPARC Classics, and may also exist on
RS6000s. Unfortunately, we have not been able to reproduce it, probably
due to the fact that it only happens intermittantly.
If you have any information, or if there's a way to pass this on to Frame
Technologies for input from them, that would be great. Please let me know
