hi, arthur
a bit of research (truss eject) shows that eject on the sparc5 appears
to be opening the cdrom ("/dev/rdsk/c0t6d0s0") and then going to sleep.
the checks on the floppy appear to be correctly handled.
so...
you could do
eject floppy
in your dotfiles. a check on a sparc5 here shows that this does not
hang.
