What were you trying to do?
do a medline search from either "willow" or "tfirst"
What's wrong?
tfirst: I get a "main menu" display with commands to enter, but no response
from any of the indicated commands
willow: chosing the medline database gives the proper introductory window,
but when I try to do a search the response is that there is no connection
to the database. Materials Science database on Willow appears to be
OK, but that's not what I need
What should have happened:
In both cases, the database should be accessible to routine querys from
the menu. This has worked at the Science library on several occasions.
What's the problem? The cluster in building 11?
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Can't help you there. As a general comment, though, this is one of the
slowest routes I've ever used to search Medline. Is there a better
connection routine than Willow or tfirst?
