A couple of weeks ago I downloaded and installed the 4 dist disks for the
new Lanwp. Since then I have been gettig GPF's when I attempt to exit
TechMail by double-clicking on the top left corner of the window. It exits
gracefully if the File/exit sequence is used. The version is 1.03, the
first copy I downloaded was dated 8/25/94. This morning I downloaded the
latest version dated this month - the trouble persists. In addition
Technotify generates random GPF's as it sitting in an iconified state.
Neither of these GPFs are fatal just a damn nuisance - but Techmail
produces a corrupted file.
I reported the bugs through net-help, Carol Elder replied and suggested I
had old versions. She said she would forward the report. (She also
suggested I reinstall the software under ProgMan not NDW - see below - I
did - no difference)
System is a 12Mb 486 DX4/100 notebook running Norton DeskTop on top of WfW.
