I have noticed sometimes that after a user logs out, there is a delay
between the time zlocate says he is not logged in and the time zwrite
will fail. Normally this time may only be a matter of seconds or minutes
which is acceptable but once in a while this time may be an hour or more.
One case was a user by the name of maxsmith who was logged in and out
of dialup around 4pm. At 1am he was not zlocate-able but olc kept insisting
that he was logged in. When I zwrote to him directly it was successful.
After repeating the zwrite a few times within a minute, zwrite finally
came around and said he was not logged in. I would have dismissed this
as a restriction with his visibilty (which I cannot find out) but this has
occurred several times before - another time Carla logged out of her machine
and was on her way to 11-115 and I was still able to zwrite her successfully
but not zlocate her and she has no visibility restriction.
