What were you trying to do?
Create a mountpoint w/ an invalid syntax.
Since ``fs lsm /afs/athena'' returns:
'/afs/athena' is a symbolic link, leading to a mount point for volume '#athena.mit.edu:root.cell'
I attempted to make a mountpoint with:
[deathtongue!jhawk] ~> fs mkm foo #athena.mit.edu:root.cell
Floating exception (core dumped)
What's wrong:
Programs should never core dump.
What should have happened:
It should have complained about my syntax.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
This seems to happen whenever there is a : in the volume-name
field for fs mkm. For instance, ``fs mkm foo :'' generates
the same error.
