I'm sorry to say that I was not listening to any audio whatsoever,
and I didn't mean for my bug report to convey that :-(
I walked into the cluster to use a cluster machine to confirm what I
thought was a bug in 7.7K :-)
When I do use audio, it is almost exclusively for listening to
MBONE multicasts, which are really not accessible from cluster
machines (tunnels need to be setup to your particular subnet);
at those times I almost always use headphones, as I typically
listen in the sipb office, and the speakers are hard to hear
clearly and tend to annoy others...
