OK, so we reloaded lwp and everything worked. I came back to the office
and booted up and connected via blue box and tried the viewer config
again and it worked like a charm. Great. Then I thought it would be
nice to have Mosaic on the ThinkPad.
I went to net-dist in TI and tried to download Mosaic. In the middle of
the download, the download crashed and kicked me out of ti. So I agreed
to Close and the tried to reopen ti. The first time I did it, I did not
get a version error message. This time I did.
Paul B., the config date is: 10/17/94 14:39:14. I didn't install the
latest TI, because I wanted to see what I had.
1. How come when I started the first time I didn't get a version
notice?
2. How come net-dist download didn't work?
3. Any recommendation where I should put Mosaic and stuff like that?
4. A test: I'm trying to download pkunzip. Will it work? Nope. It
downloads for awhile and then I get the message: Unkown code m 51. An
error occured (sic ... typo!) while downloading the document." "Error
10035 while retrieving item." But at least it didn't kill the app ...
