What were you trying to do?
Trying to send a mail message, using 'comp'.
What's wrong:
'comp' fired up Emacs 18; I got a syntax error from my
~/.emacs file, which uses Emacs 19 specific stuff.
What should have happened:
I have my EDITOR environment variable set to 'vi', because
I prefer it over Emacs for small texts; comp should have
used vi instead.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Uh... I guess convention ;-)
(Actually, this is a bit of a nitpick, but the behaviour in
question is a bit annoying).
