You and I may consider this a bug, but according to Frame it's a feature.
The Frame 4.0 documentation clearly says:
" When a Frame program starts, it runs the fm_flb program on the host on
which it was started. [stuff deleted] the fm_flb program remains
running for up to one hour after the Frame product quits."
Re: Frame running only in demo mode
I'm still trying to figure out a good workaround, but the culprit in this
problem may very well be the Solaris 2.3 rpcbind. If you kil and restart
rpcbind, you should find that Frame works properly. Yes, this is a lousy
workaround, but it's the only one I have right now.
