On an RS/6000, if I run zwgc in the background
% zwgc -ttymode -nofork &
it stops and the shell prints "Suspended (tty output)".
Both /usr/athena/bin/zwgc and /srvd/patch/zwgc do this.
stty shows "-tostop", i.e. the terminal is _not_ set to stop processes
which attempt to print while in the background.
I am using the default shell.
