Hi. I don't know what is causing this problem, but when I am
running my session, X sometimes dies. X just haults for
a few seconds, and then the gray root appears and then
the "welcome to athena" window comes back up.
There is a core file in my Public, if it helps.
I was running emacs, xzewd, vtwm, zwgc, xdaliclock, and
dash logout button at the time
This bug seems to occur only on suns, and it was never around
(this never happened) when 7.6 was running...
I hope we can find the bug
