I haven't been logged into 6.0R workstations other than remotely
enough to know whether the behavior I described (apparent "wedgedness"
occurs on 6.0R workstations. I think that it is likely a memory
problem, however, because I have never seen it happen on a freshly
booted workstation and my login starts up a lot of things at once;
also, my workstation has 25 Megabytes of swap space.....
