About your "suncc -fast" bug report on Sparc Classics: I'm afraid this
will be in the "it's broke but we won't be able to fix it" category.
We will be upgrading to version 3.0 of the C compiler within the next
few months and don't have the resources to try to track down a possible
binary patch from Sun; I hope the problem will have gone away with 3.0.
I will try to make sure that Sun knows about this if they don't already.
I don't know if this is of any use to you, but we have a supported version
of the GNU gcc compiler in the Cygnus locker: to use it do "add cygnus; gcc
myfile.c". I hope things work out and am sorry I couldn't do more.
