What were you trying to do?
I am producing some overheads needed to a technical presentations. I am using
AutoCAD to prepare the graph and other nice pictures, whereas I am using
Framemaker to prepare the overheads, that have lots of .eps, AutoCad-produced,
imported graphs.
What's wrong:
It's easy: on the DEC 5000s the system simply crashes any time Autocad and
Frame run concurrently. On the SparcClassics, that seem to be more stable,
under the same circumstances, the pop up windows as well as the main one have
the black parts (i.e. arrows, position bars, simbols) substituted by a fancy
magenta ones, and the screen is often messed up.
What should have happened:
Nothing, as it happen on any Windows PC, when I run concurrently (well,
almost) AutoSketch and Word.
