I was helping a user and the following happened to me:

We were in a conversation, and one of the messages I sent took a LONG
time before olcr came back telling me the message was sent.

After waiting a long time for the user to reply, I did a 'status' and
was told I wasn't doing anything in olc. I did a replay and it said it
couldn't find user 'wdc'.

I re-grabbed the question and looked at the log. There was an entry
saying my host was down.

GREAT! The user thinks I'm gone, and I think the user hasn't responded.
I have NO CLUE that I've been labeled as gone. This is REALLY BAD!

If olcr on my side is smart enough to notice my message has been sent,
that it should DAMN WELL be smart enough to notice that the OLC server
has given me up for dead and warn me of that.
