What were you trying to do?
	fix a bug in mailmaint

What's wrong:
	I found two more.

What should have happened:
I should be able to take one step forward without taking two
	steps back.

What boneheaded things did mailmaint do this time:
	1) It has different behavior if you ^c a show members of a
list query, than if you ^c a show lists of $user query. OK, so this
is just an asthetic thing.

	2) When you do a show members of list on a list that has
members with sufficiently long names (usually string members) they are
not handled propperly. If they appear in the first column their end
is overwritten by the second column, but if the second column member
isn't long enough the very end of the first column member isn't even
cleared. It looks really ugly.

Please supply any personal historical perspective about the program, flamming if necessary:
Not too long after I started using athenaabout 4.5 years ago,
I used mailmaint a few times. At thai point I decided it was rather
buggy, and generally sucked, and that listmaint was much better.
Seeing all of these bugs reminds me why I thought it was so bad.
Seeing the code, I'm not surprised it's so bad.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
Well, you see, this is part of why I think mailmaint has
problems. I couldn't find much. I suppose man mailmaint might be
vaguely useful.
