What happened?
I just helped a user who was unable to get his EZ document to print.
Why did that happen?
The user tried to print his document to printer `alax'. (using
`Printer Setup')
What should have happened?
EZ should check the return status of the print job and tell the user
if things like that happen.
Alternately, we could change `ez' into a shell script that runs
`runapp -d ezapp -d', and they'd see those messages themselves. ;-)
Would you like to blather a little here?
Why, yes, thank you. :-)
This doesn't seem like a hard fix to make (although I understand the
printing subsystem is `a bit untidy'), and it would improve EZ's
reputation a lot (since right now people think EZ `just ate my
paper' (user quote)).
