System name: al-burro
Type and version:	KN02ca 7.6G (2 update(s) to same version)
Display type:

What were you trying to do?
I was in the linux locker, packages subdirectory, doing ftp
to hobbes.ucsc.edu, a Sun Sparc running SunOS 4.1.3. I was
doing binary mode mput of several of the packages.

What's wrong:
After transmitting several files the mput just stopped (between
files) At the distant end (hobbes.ucsc.edu) the file that was
about to be transmitted had been created and had zero size.
This happened twice, sending from different sub directories
	(packages and pkg-lists).

What should have happened:
Should have sent all the specified files and not stopped until
it was done, then given the ftp> prompt.

Please describe any relevant documentation references:
	man ftp
