I'm sorry to report that this bug is not likely to be fixed anytime in
the near future.
I do not think it prudent to simply have the client be silently discarding
messages without unsubscribing from the server. As it is, the server is
already processing far too many messages that clients are simply dropping
on the floor, and this change will simply mask out the fact that the server
was already in a state that it couldn't even honor the simple unsubscribe
request. I think it is best left to the user to re-issue the command.
