I'm sorry to report that your problem with zwrite is not likely to be
fixed anytime in the near future.
It is well-known that there are several problems with Zephyr, including
database consistency amongst the servers, security concerns relating to
server-server and client-server messages, reliability, accumulation of
crufty data in the database, and scaling issues. Zephyr is in dire need
of being analyzed carefully, and probably redesigned and rewritten.
