User names with "." (dots) in them will not be able to receive
mail. At some point during R/O week we fixed the registration program
to reject attempts to use usernames with dots in them. However before
we did so some people slipped through.
The thing to do at this point is to get enough information
from these people so that we can contact them offline to coordinate
changing their usernames. I can patch the database so that they carry
all their files with them etc.
Carla, can you followup on contacting these people and talk to
me when you know what usernames they would like instead of the ones
they have?
