What were you trying to do?
In twm, bring up the "TwmWindows" menu while there were no
windows to list.
What's wrong:
Twm died.
What should have happened:
Either nothing or a beep or just a menu with a title and
nothing else. Anyway, TWM shouldn't have died.

Twm man page:
There is a special menu named TwmWindows which contains the
names of all of the client and twm-supplied windows.
Selecting an entry will cause the WindowFunction to be
executed on that window. If WindowFunction hasn't been set,
the window will be deiconified and raised.
