There is a question in OLC which states :

The period in his username is creating problems for the mailserver. I am
surprised that 'register' allowed a user to register a username with a
period. I though that kerberos did not accept that!
Anyway, a solution is required as soon as possible by either changing
the username or otherwise fixing the mailserver. I have requested the
user to leave his home address and phone number in OLC.
Please look into this. Thanx.
