Oops; one more thing:
before the reinstall, after the autoupdate, in addition to `fs
sysname' failing, `fs wscell' returned something like `the network or
server appears to be down' while `fs checks' says `All servers are
running.' I doubt thisis specifically related to the new release, and
I understand why it's doing this, but it's still wrong, IMHO...
