What were you trying to do?
Print a file.
What's wrong:
The printer ran out of paper. I added more paper. It started
printing. However, when I did an `lpq', it still printed the message:
W20-575-P.MIT.EDU... Printer Error: may need attention! (out of paper)
while the current document was still printing out. After the current
document finished printing out, `lpq' started printing the message
`ready and printing' like it should.
What should have happened:
If possible, ``Printer error'' messages from lpq should
disappear as soon as the problem is resolved. There should be no need
to wait until the current file is done printing to find out if it is
really fixed.
