What were you trying to do?
Use emacs's man function
What's wrong:
Emacs dies and dumps core.
What should have happened:
This doesn't happen repeatably, but has happened more than
once. Typically, it happens when my emacs is running discuss and
rmail, but my emacs is almost always running those, so that maynot be
relevant. I suspect it's a(nother) problem with the process code. In
any case, I doubt anyone cares about this since we're running an
out-of-date emacs and I believe the relevant code has changed in
recent versions of emacs; this is just (hopefully) a push to get a
recent version installed; this particular bug has cost me time I was
charging I/S for... (incentive enough? ;-)
Anyway, someone let me know that nothing's going to be done so
I can dump the corefile sometime soon?
