I am aware of the problem and might have an X server that will fix the
problem. In fact, I was provided with a means of reproducibly
causing the X server to crash.
Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to go to MIT and try out the
X server and debug the problem. I intend to do so when I get a chance
(probably next Wednesday) if there isn't anything else major happening.
I would have looked at the problem sooner, but I don't get paid
anymore by I/S so my services are completly volunteer and hence
no great emphasis on turn around time.
I do want to fix the X server. I've fixed two other bugs which caused
the serevr to crash (and will be in the next Vax release if it ever happens)
but no guarantees....
