What were you trying to do?
I was trying to get rid of the keyclick on the machine m11-113-3.
What's wrong:
I couldn't get rid of it. I tried "xset -c" and "xset c 0" and "xset c off"
but none of them had any effect. In fact, "xset -c" is in my .login, but it
didn't seem to do anything. The problem has not occurred on any other machine.
What should have happened:
The stupid keyclick should have switched off at the first attempt!
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
I tried OLC who suggested that more than one X server was running, but he
checked that and found that there was ONLY ONE X server running. He also
told me to mention that I had no trouble xhosting other machines so that
they could open windows on my display. Then he suggested that it was a
bug with the RS/6000 X server.
