What were you trying to do?
use emacs info. I had a pretty big emacs running; my .emacs
loads mh-rmail, ~acevedo/Emacs/new-zwgc.el, ~acevedo/Emacs/znol.el,
~fmmoore/lib/elisp/mymud.el, ~fmmoore/lib/elisp/bobcat.el, plus I was
running gnus from /mit/sipb/lib/elisp/gnus.el, and had
/mit/consult/lib/elisp/dig.el loaded.
What's wrong:
When I typed C-? i (bound to info), I got the following messages
repeating on the screen:
Fixed up unaligned data access for pid 26374 (emacs.real) at pc 0x4331c0
Fixed up unaligned data access for pid 26374 (emacs.real) at pc 0x4331a4
about 25-40 times, and then got:
Fatal error (10).Bus error
Since I limit coredumpsize 0, there was no core dump.
What should have happened:
The bus error shouldn't have occurred, and info should have
appeared.
Please describe any relevant documentation references:
~fmmoore/.emacs.el is readable
