What's wrong:
help brought up an ezviewer with a plaid(!) background (b&w only)
through which it was very difficult to read the text!
I am rlogin'd electric-monk from a rice-chex.ai.mit.edu xterm
which is displaying remotely on pattie-urop-1.media.mit.edu.
pattie-urop-1 is a Mac Quadra running Mac X. I also have my
environment variable DISPLAY set to pattie-urop.1.media.mit.edu:0
on my athena login (electric-monk). This always works fine for
zephyr; I hardly ever open other windows from athena.
This may not really be a bug -- i.e. it is possible that
something is really strange with the Mac X setup here.
What should have happened:
hopefully not that! (I should have had a plain white background to
read my black text on.)
