It would be spiffy if the zephyrs that the mail server
sent also contained the message number on the pop/imap server,
possibly in an additional field of the zephyr. :)
(Yeah, this is probably the wrong place to report it,
but at least one person on this list might actually
be able to get the change made. ;)
