Bill, As you've been my particular source of help and information on the
ACE interface since I started here, thought you'd be interested in the
reaction of a non-technical user of the interface:
I find the Gnome interface substantially easier, more efficient to use
than its predecessor. I used to try to avoid rebooting, as the process
of setting up my desktop took so much longer. The enhancements to
navigation are an overall improvement. My instinct is that the new
interface makes me about 15% more efficient, though I don't have a way
of quantifying this improvement.
