I sent mail to the sawfish maintainer about the bugs we've been
encountering. He sent me a reply. The garbage in the window
decorations is believed to be a bug in the MIT-SHM implementation of
XSun. He says:
> This is a problem with the MIT-SHM support in the solaris X server, one
> way to fix it is to stop Imlib using shared memory (use imlib_config)
>
> Also, I think the sysadmin here said they fixed it by increasing the

I also sent the bug report:
) When sawfish is launched in click-to-focus mode, the window that has
) the focus does not get decorated as such. If that same window is
) later selected, it gets the appropriate decoration.
So, if anyone else sees this, don't bother reporting it.
I was also going to file a bug report on sawfish-ui crashing all the
time. I was going to get a corefile for the maintainer to look at, and
it was being oddly stable. So, Gnome 1.2 may have fixed the bugs, or
is at least masking them for me. Let me know if anyone can
reproducibly crash sawfish-ui.
