My hardy comrades,

As you know, a great American tradition is fastly approaching. This is the
uniquely hypocritical tradition: Thanksgiving. Celebrate the anniversary of
the pilgrim's landing at Plymouth Rock. They were a hardy band of
adventurers and god fearing human beings. Blessed by divine providence and
the amity of their neigboring native American tribes, they were able to
survive the first winter. For this, we give thanks as the foundation of the
new world was laid. Afterwards, they proceeded, with equal zeal and
enthusiasm, to annihilate all the native tribes and take over the new
continent, giving rise to the most powerful nation whose protective (or
rather, interfering) arms reached out into all corners of the world.
Indeed, we should give thanks. I mean, hey, their election is bungling, and
the political system is highly divided as of now. This is good news,
perhaps, we can invade them sometimes.....mwahahahahaha

In anycase what i am trying to say is that we should have a cooking party
(or, rather, for me dish washing party) on thanksgiving day. I talked to P
Heart (or Art, not so sure) who is a grad student in history at harvard,
and he agrees to provide us with the necessary space and kitchen and
utensils. What i want to know now is how many people will be interested and
can come. I am just afraid that if there are too many people we should find
somewhere else and not bother P heart. Pls reply and ple tell the people i
miss from this e-mail about this thing.

So long amigo,

Elcid
