You should upgrade to Evolution 0.5.1 (which is on the Helix GNOME
Evolution mirror now). 0.5 was pretty much a disaster.

And FYI, kerberized IMAP support will be going into the tree this
week.

Some of the components don't exit when the app exits, so if you run
evolution or nautilus on :0.0 and then run it remotely, some of the
components might be trying to talk to the wrong X server. "oaf-slay"
will kill off any stray components running as you, so if you do that
first, you might have better luck. (Of course, this will eit anyone
else already logged in on that machine as gtest running one of those
programs.)
