I thought of a simpler approach for dealing with the SIPB/IS&T branding
issue: just fork debathena-gdm-config. It's not ideal for the case
where people change between the two apt repositories (which they can
currently do) but the consequences are pretty minor.
If cluster machines actually require a different gdm.conf from
workstations then that will have to be addressed in some other way, of
course.
